Dress Code – Fancy Dress

A wonderful array of costumes, but we need help with names, date and the occasion. Janis Bonner has advised: “4th in, on the back row, is my mother Margaret Tilley ( nee Pearson) dressed as a gypsy girl. She will have been about 15/16 years old which dates the photograph circa 1946/47. She has a copy of this somewhere. I’ll ask her if she remembers the names of the others.” Janis Bonner can now assist again: “My Mother Margaret recognised some of her fellow fancy dressers!

A Very Young Youth Club Member?

This image has us completely foxed. Too young to be a Youth Club member, but in their scrapbook was this battered photograph. Can you tell us why it is there and more importantly who is he?
