Official Do.

Lots of official chains in view and Norman is on the far back left but who else is there and what was the do? Peter Appleton has advised: “The gentleman third from the right looks to me like it might be a young Bob Brunger. He was, for part of his life, chairman of Skelton & Brotton Urban District Council. If my identification is correct then this gathering looks like a gathering of dignitaries from the various local authorities and the date must be before 1974, when the U.D.C.s were abolished. It is possible that Bob might be able to supply additional names.” The Archive will ensure Bob Brunger has sight of hopefully improved image and assist in other identification; the Archive also believes that the lady to the right of Bob Brunger is Audrey Collins.
