Great to see this photo of my relative. Eileen Reed was my 1st cousin once removed. I am searching for her sons – Christopher and John Ward. Anyone who knew them or may know where they are please reply. It says Stan was very well known in the area why? Does anyone know more about him?

Stan and Eileen were stalwarts at the Beach Road Methodist Church. Eileen was the organist there. I went to school with Christopher (Carlin How Primary then Guisborough Grammar). John I think was 4 or 5 years older

I knew Stan well and have some photographs of him, he was a well know painter and decorator, an ex-prisoner of war and along with me and many others worked to put a photographic exhibition on at Carlin How in 1983. Also later the team compiled a small booklet “Carlin How in Times Past”. Stan and Eileen lived on Brotton road, Carlin How for many years. I also have a photograph of Eileen Reed at Bells Huts.
