Quade (Reimitz) adds: “I spent the 1986-87 school year as a German language assistant at PPC and was very fortunate to meet and appreciate Granville B. Lynch (mentor and host) and Vaughan Dexter (swing band leader), to whom I owe much to this day, as they both inspired me deeply.”

Roy Lucas and Mike Tailby ran Venture Scouts and repaired the school cottage in Swaledale. Great guys
I was at Guisborough Grammer (Pursglove House) 1954 to 1960, gaining seven O levels Also was part of the Scout Troop with Mr Noble, got my Queen’s Scout Award. Then went onto Merchant Navy, gaining my Master’s ticket by 1971.
I was there the very first year…..Roy Lucas and Curlie Jackson ran the Scouts…..great fun….
